We just posted a page about Lanikai Beach. This provides information about the place that is used as the codename for Thunderbird 3.1 and also gives people an opportunity to donate to support conservation efforts for the local Bulwer’s Petrel.
I’ve really enjoyed working on this, as well as the page for Namoroka Park, since its a way to talk about our community’s history that’s more interesting than a timeline.
Linking a well understood concept like protecting a physical space with the less concrete notion of protecting the virtual space of the Internet also seems like fun way to spread understanding of Mozilla’s mission.
