A Mozilla Websites Taskforce

There was a great discussion in the Mozilla universe session at the Summit and most people agreed it would be helpful if we coordinated more to create a coherent experience across our sites. For reference, slides from the talk are available (pdf warning).

To do the coordinating, we’ve been thinking about putting together a task force made up of stakeholders from various community sites to address relevant issues.

I’m suggesting having an initial meeting on August 12 at 10 pacific (but this can change if there are conflicts) to discuss:

* The scope of a task force
* How a task force would operate
* Proposed priorities
* Audit of existing guides and resources
* Logistics (mailing list? meeting times? etc.)

If you’d like to come to the meeting or suggest other items to cover, feel free to leave a comment here or email me at david at mozillafoundation dot org.
